Aerobics combines rhythmic aerobic exercise with stretching and strength training routines with the goal of improving all elements of fitness (flexibility, muscular strength, and cardio-vascular fitness).
In addition to our normal fitness classes, we also offer aqua fitness classes in our heated indoor swimming pool to all our members (excluding SilverSneakers Free memberships). If you don't wish to participate in our aqua fitness classes, you are also free to swim at your own leisure. Don't forget, a sauna to relax and rejuvenate yourself in after your workout.
Pilates is a conditioning routine that may help build flexibility, muscle strength, and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips, and back. It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing, and developing a strong core or center, and improving coordination and balance.
Yoga & meditation
Yoga and meditation make you feel great while increasing flexibility and focus. The benefits go well beyond the obvious, as Yoga has been shown as a safe and effective method of treatment for chronic back pain, depression, stress, menopause, diabetes, and even asthma.
Zumba incorporates dance and aerobic elements such as hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo and martial arts. Squats and lunges are also included.
